ABOUT BARC

BARC (Bali Dog Adoption Rehabilitation Centre) is a registered Australian / Indonesian not-for-profit animal charity. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home the abused, neglected and abandoned dogs of Bali.

Founded in 2006, we have expanded rapidly and rescued 4000+ dogs and presently care for 150+ dog, puppies, cats, kittens, 5 monkeys and Wally the pig. With no government or corporate funding we rely on donations from the global community to continue to relieve the suffering, starvation and abuse of Bali street dogs.

We are creating the first ever animal adoption centre in Bali, for the homeless animals looking for their fur-ever home. It will be a place of joy, warmth and fun with many wagging tails  - but we need your help to make it happen! 

WHAT WE NEED & WHAT YOU GET

We need approximately $20,000 to create the BARC Adoption Centre -  home to our fur-babies until their forever family walk through the door.  

Your contribution will help us achieve this goal and in return we will be attaching personalized name plaques in your honor to all the item(s) you purchase. You will be forever etched in BARC history and your plaque will be seen by the many visitors who walk through our doors.

YOUR IMPACT

Not only will your funding help this dream become a reality, but the ongoing effects of opening the centre will help in many other areas. Such as:

Education for the local schools who will be invited to meet the puppies and taught about animal welfare, pet care and the responsibility of owning a pet.

Raising awareness of the plight of the Bali animals to the local community and many tourists that pass our door.

Educate adopters about the importance of understanding the full responsibility of owning an animal.

Promote further donations in our store.

Traveling to Bali? Be a BARC Husky and bring donations over or donate 2nd hand clothing to our charity shop, or bring much needed medical supplies.

Ask your vet, chemist, local hospital to donate out of date medical supplies. We have extensive lists of what's needed PLUS we have letters ready for you to send out. Email medicaldonations@balidogrefuge.com and we will send them your way!
