Andy Altman and The San Francisco Bachelor Auction
My name is Andy Altman and I am helping The Guardsmen raise money for at risk youth by auctioning myself at The 9th Annual San Francisco Bachelor Auction on June 21, 2012. Please check out my auction profile.
So who are you bidding on? Well, I can be totally happy spending a day at a museum, or taking a 15 mile hike, rain or shine. A two-time national champion for the University of Washington rowing team, you may also find me training for a marathon or adventure race. You can pretty much get me to show up to anything if there’s live music involved. When I’m not playing or raising money for kids, I spend my days writing and producing news for CBS.
Through fundraisers, such as The Bachelor Auction, The Guardsmen sends 2,500 youth to outdoor education programs and provides scholarship support to more than 250 students at Bay Area private schools each year.
However, there are many more Bay Area kids that need help, and that is why The Guardsmen have partnered with IndieGoGo to raise money online.
Please help me raise $1000 in the next 2 weeks through IndieGoGo - enough money to send 5 local kids to camp for a week this summer.
Help me raise $1000 to support The Guardsmen
$1000 is what it costs The Guardsmen to send 5 kids to camp for a week this summer, or provide a scholarship to a child for one semester.
The Guardsmen is committed to making sure that fundraising dollars are spent wisely, with the greatest need and highest returns always in mind. In fact, greater than 90 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to support programs for kids. In comparison, most top rated charities generally spend 75% of their budgets on programs.
