Our Story

Haggadot.com is a free online resource for Jews of all backgrounds to upload, exchange and personalize Passover Haggadot. Our goal is to help Jews around the world create a more personal, more meaningful haggadah - whatever their denominational, educational, or ethnic background may be.

In our two years, over 50,000 users have shared nearly 2000 pieces of original writings, artwork and videos ranging in themes such as social justice, addiction and recovery, interfaith dialogue, children's activities and much more. We're creating a global seder conversation and we hope you will join us!

What We Need & What You Get

Maintaining a website takes time and resources. Just like owning a car, it occassionally requires investment in repairs and fuel (or in our case, server space).

We need to perform updates to make our site run smoother for Passover 2013. Our costs include: 

$1000 annual expenses on web hosting and software. 

$4000 to make repairs to our database, for a faster user experience

Additionally, we hope to launch a partner site in 2013 for Shabbat content. You'll be able to login using your account information from Haggadot.com, but this new site - Kavanot.com, will host a range of texts & artwork for personalized Shabbat services or simple Friday night rituals for letting go of the week. Every additional dollar will help us launch Kavanot.com. 

The ROI Community has pledged a dollar match on every dollar you donate — maximizing the impact of your contribution! 

In other words, every dollar you give means $2 in total funding for Haggadot.com.

Haggadot.com creator & Los Angeles-based designer Eileen Levinson is offering artwork for each level of donation. Check out the options & contact her if you'd like any products rushed by mail as Chanukah gifts. All perks will otherwise be mailed in January 2013 (dontation includes US shipping, international mailing may require an additional fee).
