Hello, my name is Adam Crawford. I live in Knoxville, TN., and if there's one thing that folks love in this town... it's FOOD. About six years ago, I started having a dream of owning a food truck, and creating the opportunity to bring something new, and exciting to the scene. Knoxville, at the time wasn't necessarily ready for something like that. But, the more and more research I did, I found that it was a huge deal in other parts of the country. Around three years passed, and they started popping up left & right here. So I decided to follow through with my dream. Only, I didn't want to just renovate a normal truck... I wanted something more. So, I purchased a 1974 model Airstream. A beautiful classic... An eye-catcher... Something that would reflect the quality, and creativity of the food it would serve all over Knoxville, and throughout the eastern U.S.. I have always had a life-long fascination with food, and cooking. Criss-crossing different cultural dishes... the chemistry, and creativity behind them. I chose the name "Guerilla Grill", due to the fact that I did not wish to be pigeon-holed into any one area of the food world. A rebel if you will, a ground-breaker, and a creative spirit. I've always wanted to bring new, and exciting dishes and ideas to a much larger audience... And now I feel it is time to do exactly that!
I have come as far as I can on my own. Now, I am asking for your help.
What We Need & What You Get
I am setting a goal for $10,000. I realize that this sounds like a lot, but for a food truck, this is actually very little. I have been fortunate enough to have close friends pitch in and contribute to a lot of the initial renovations, which has helped in cutting down on the overall cost of the project. But, now I need financial assistance to help push it through to completion.
The funding we receive, will go to necessary repairs and equipment, Like:
Propane lines, updated water & plumbing, fresh tires, a used vehicle powerful to pull the Airstream, deep fryer, flat-top, restoring the brake-assist, generator, replacing the interior paneling with FRP. And many other details, that will bring everything up to code, and get us on the road to serving the public...festivals....functions...catering.... You name it, we'll be there.
We have perks, and rewards in place for our contributors and funding partners as well. Everything from creatively designed T-shirts, stickers... to monthly, and year-long discount cards... shout-outs, and public recognition on our website, Facebook, and twitter... even dishes named after funding partners!
We will be sourcing out only the highest-quality, local ingredients in the area, and adjusting our menu constantly... according to the seasons. We are also making it a point to serve every area. Not simply focusing on high-income areas, to those whom can most afford it. I feel that everyone deserves a high-quality experience, as often as possible, without breaking the bank. I believe, that everyone is entitled to healthy, creative, and delicious experience. Delivered to them in a unique, and memorable fashion. Furthermore, I am a firm believer in supporting and promoting the local economy. The little man. The folks whom shape an area, and deserve the most support.

I understand, better than most, that not everyone who would like to help can afford to financially with this goal. But, there are other ways!
