Do you or someone you know eat gluten free? Whether it is a medical necessity (like me) or a personl health choice, you know that eating gluten free is not easy, especially when it comes to desserts. But this Indiegogo campagin will change your mind.
Gluten free desserts almost always fall flat when it comes to flavor. People who eat GF know how difficult it is to find tasty desserts. The time has come to stop settling for "okay" and start experiencing incredible tasting "gluten freelicious" desserts.
Our desserts sell out daily and not a day goes by that someone doesn't ask us if ANY of our desserts are gluten free (GF). The demand to accommodate our fellow GF customers is fierce, and I have made it my personal mission to help fufill their requests. By 2014, the sales of gluten free food will top 4 billion dollars and you can help us be a part of one of the fastest growing segments in the food industry.
Our next project for Southern Fried Country Market is to take our most popular desserts and make them GLUTEN FREE! Can you imagine Apple Crumb Pecan Bread Pudding, Chocolate Ganache Brownies and Almond Joy Macaroons all GLUTEN FREE? It...can...happen! We have run out of room at our Country Market for a dedicated GF kitchen. So, we need to aquire a space. We also need to outfit this space with all the supplies, equipment and ingredients needed to crank out our super delicious treats.

WHAT WE NEED
We have the recipes and we have the chef, now all we need is a little help. This is where you come in...we need your support to make this dream a reality. We need to raise at least $8,995.00 to cover equipment, baking supplies, and ingredients. Here is a breakdown of where your contributions will go:
$6000.00 Commercial Equipment (which we will purchase refurbished when available to help keep costs down: oven, freezer, refridgerator, mixer and food processor)
$1000.00 Baking Supplies (mixing bowls, spatulas, measuring cups, measuring spoons, baking dishes, sheet pans & liners, cupcake liners, bakery boxes, mixer, etc.)
$1000.00 Ingredients (flour, sugar, eggs, chocolate chips, vanilla bean, coconut, etc.)
$1000.00 Computer (with Cash Flow and Inventory Management software)
Your contributions will help us take our business to the next level. More importantly, your contributions will help change people's lives. People who eat gluten free are used to eating so-so tasting food. Let's give them what they deserve--delicious desserts that don't taste gluten free!

Hi Y'all...My name is April Habit. My husband Al and I are owners of Southern Fried Country Market. We are a small mom & pop cafe, bakery and old-fashioned Hershey's ice cream parlor in Virginia Beach, VA. We renovated an old brick building that dates back to 1929 that once held a grocery store & lunch counter. We make delicious sandwiches, homemade soups and tasty desserts. Customers love "our throwback scene with southern cuisine."
