Get the Ring Bearer to Illinois

Short Summary

A couple we consider family, Paul and Ashley, are getting married in Illinois in April. I've known Paul for almost 16 years, and he's like a brother to me. My husband, Mike Ryan, and I are thrilled that Paul has found the love of his life, and we were touched when the couple asked our son to be their ring bearer. We promised we would be there to see them united in marriage.

Unfortunately, we hadn't figured on either the high travel expenses or on several substantial car repairs towards the end of 2012 that sapped our savings. We want to honor our commitment for our son to be a part of their ceremony, but to get him there, we'll need your help.

What We Need & What You Get

Here's what we need:

    $1,200 - Air fare

        450 - Hotel

        300 - Food

        180 - Two days of missed work for Alyce

          90 - Car rental in Illinois

          60 - Parking at Philadelphia Airport

 TOTAL: $2,280

Here's what you'll get:

If we don't reach our entire goal, we will use the donated money towards the air fare, which is the most prohibitive expense for us. Every little bit can help us get the ringbearer to the wedding.
