Help us get our Mexican to Finland!

¡ZARZAMORA!, Austin's premiere historical improv troupe, has been selected to play at the Finland International Improv Festival in Tampere, Finland. We are honored to be the first Austin troupe to play this wondrous, storied, frigid country. 

However, not all is Sahti and skittles. Like the Soviets, we're running into a few challenges in getting into Finland. The Nordic countries are not as inexpensive as one might assume from their furniture. That's where YOU come in!

We're trying to raise two thousand dollars to help our resident Mexican, Estevan "Chuy" Zarate, join us in our northerly travels.

Chuy is one of the most beloved and respected improvisers in town, in addition to being an accomplished actor and theatrical director. While the rest of us are laboring away at 9 to 5 jobs, Chuy has instead been giving of himself to the Austin arts community. And while we've been living the freewheeling single lifestyle, Chuy has been getting married and having kids. That leads to no disposable income for things like flitting off to Finland for wacky make-em-ups.

Perhaps you've been the beneficiary of Chuy's time, his talent, and his dedication. Perhaps you only hope to be. In either case, his contributions to the improv scene and the Austin arts scene in general cannot be overstated.
