Calling all circus folk and enthusiasts!
We are saving the moustache!
George Le Couteur, slapstick clown, circus performer and german wheelist has had a run of terrible luck. After touring the world he has suffered from a slap tear in the bicep that has resulted in a fluid sack compression on a nerve that led to $16,000 worth of emergency shoulder surgery and 5 months of recovery.
He has managed to make it through the surgery and is recovering well (we hope!), however to ensure that he will be able to work again we are raising funds to pay for physiotherapy, rent and the endless doctors bills that continue to pour in. We have had no luck with health and accident insurance, duck for cover or otherwise as one way or another he isn't eligible. So we need your help this christmas.
Every contribution big or small, will bring George one step closer to a full recovery and enable him to continue to contribute to the circus community that we all know and love.
We are offering fabulous perks for contributions from moustache kits to personally signed copies of "She's Leaving Home" and private tuition in Aerials in either Brisbane or Sydney.
We hope to hit our goal of $3500 so that we can make it through the silly season and have George performing by March next year, it is a big hurdle but we are determined.
If you can't help us financially we would love for you to spread the word amongst your family and friends - help us reach our goal!!
