Short Summary

Hi we are Gentleman Surfer, a band from Sacramento California.  We are just mere weeks away from releasing our new full length album "BLALKS."  Due to our frustrations with the politics of the music industry, we are choosing to "self release" the record...But not without your help!  We are pooling our money to the best of our abilities, though cannot reach our $1800 goal without the help of you and others!  We have been working on this record for over a year already, and cannot wait to share with you!  Please help us to make this possible!  We will pay whatever amount isn't met.

What We Need & What You Get

We need 1800 dollars to fund a 250 record vinyl release, with download codes, as well as a small run of CD's (approximately 100).

Donation amounts and corresponding "perks" are as follows:

$10- CD copy of the album

$20- CD copy, and a hand screened G Surf shirt!

$50- Copy of the vinyl record, your name in the liner notes, and a shirt!

$100- Copy of the vinyl, your name in the liner notes, a shirt,  AND one piece of original art by Jon Bafus            

$200- Copy of the vinyl, thank you in the liner notes, G Surf shirt, AND one even cooler piece of art by Jon Bafus

$500- Vinyl, Thank you, G Surf shirt, and a personalized larger sized painting by jon, OR a piece of music written for YOU personally!

$1000- all that, AND a piece of music written for you, and pretty much whatever else we can offer for your extreme generosity!!!!!

Impact

This part can be wishwashy with things like visual art and music.  The main things that this record can offer are fresh thought, nuanced personality, and our dedication to making interesting music for the world and ourselves.  

Furthermore, having this release available will provide us with a context in which to tour farther, and move forward as a band.  

I can't stress enough how important this is to us, and how close to us this music is.

Other Ways You Can Help

We understand if you just can't contribute financially.  It's ok, there are other ways you can help out!  at the very least, support the cause by spreading the word to others and sharing the campaign (and link if possible) to as many others as possible.  That is a big part of how things gain momentum!

Otherwise, just come to one of our shows in the future, experience it for yourself.  Buy a record, book us at your venue, or just tell your friends that we are RAD!
