What's Going On Here?

We are attempting to create a local Buisness called: Game hub. 

Game Hub will serve as so much more than just a videogame shop. It will serve as a constant social mixer, involving: music, movies, books, comics, cards, collectibles, and videogames. It will serve as a fun and safe establishment for people of all ages and tastes. It will be a fun place where you can be with your friends and family in a very awesome relaxing atmosphere of entertainment and enjoyment. We want Game Hub to be the community core for all things video games and collectibles in the Sonora area and beyond. We want to extinguish the stigma that video gamers aren't social and live in the basement. We are highly driven and passionate individuals that love these various artistic mediums for all that they have given to us over the years. We hope to educate and enrich people's knowledge of these things and sustain the local Indie community as much as possible. We want to have a community where fundraisers for causes are constant, fruitful, and elated through the charitable nature of people everywhere. We want to be something more than just a small business; we want to be a part of the future of gaming, collecting, and openhandedness.

FUNDING

What we're asking for is pretty simple-

We are now in a situation where Game Hub might be able to open within a reasonable amount of time if we have a successful fundraiser , because at the moment our funds would be too thin to operate effectively. Any funds we gain are very usable. So, depending on how much people donate, Game Hub will open..., but we just aren't sure how long we will be able to stay open without a solid cushion. It all really depends on the people. The more funding we receive the more prestigious the project will become and For the cost of one night out with your friends you could heavily influence the success of this project.

If you can't donate a lot, that's fine. Just donate what you can and remember: Every dollar that we get puts us closer to our goal. 

What's In It For Me?

Good question. Well, take a look to the right and see the different rewards that are available for different pledge amounts. You'll notice that most of them include a newly-devolped Game Hub 'PrizeCards', which will ship once they've been reprinted. Depending on how much people contribute,  we will section off a large piece of the wall space in Game Hub and put the names (or Screen Names) of the contributor who bought that perk on the ‘CREDITS’ wall- which we think is pretty cool, in our highly biased opinion.

What If You Beat Your Goal?

If we beat our goal the project will become more and more prestigous with every dollar and will ensure our finacial stability. If we beat or meet our goal IndieGoGo recieves 4% of the profit, instead of 9% if we don't. So, we get more money!

So, What The Heck Is An IndieGoGo? 

IndieGoGo is a crowdfunding platform that is awesome and incredibly user friendly. Kickstarter, for example, doesn't allow small buisness fundraisers, so we were unable to use them for our campaign. Additionally, IndieGoGo allows 'flexible' funding because our buisness will launch and every dollar will be used wisely even if we don't meet our funding target.

What If I Have No Idea How IndieGoGo Works?

If you're not familiar with IndieGoGo or how it will work, here's a brief overview. For the next 60 days, you'll be able to make contributions to help support this project, ranging from $1 to whatever you can afford without your spouse/parent/financial advisor slapping you. For your contributions, you can select one of the reward packages—listed to the right—of equal or lesser value to your contribution. You can always pledge more than the minimum to get a reward if you want (and for some packages, you'll need to do so if it must be shipped internationally).

How Will My Money Be Spent? 

 All of the money that we receive from this campaign will go directly towards the opening inventory costs, our rent for the first month, the equipment, furniture, design of the business, staff costs, and on a $1000 PERSONAL Sideshow Collectibles Sauron Premium Format Figure, Along, with many other PERSONAL Sideshow Collectible items.
