Citizens rule and Big Data drools!!
Hello Everyone! We at JB Webnology Group are a collection of bright minds working toward building sites such as FreeYourMemory.com to create a better online experience for the citizens of this world.
We are currently tackling the Vendor Relationship Management, Customer Relationship Management, and Personal Relationship Management sectors to house these items all in one place. Yes we know that sounds like a lot and it is, but once we get it all in order, you will get to enjoy what we hope will become a very useful Life Management Platform.
Our mission is to provide a Platform that allows the average Business Owner to efficiently and affordably communicate with those who Support them, while empowering Citizens to manage those Vendor Relationships, for a more personalized Advertising experience.
We believe that every Citizen has a right to be both a Customer and a Vendor. The problem is Advertising is too costly for most of us to be both, so we mostly get stuck being consumers to a few large Vendors. Well all of that is about to change, and not only have we made it possible for the little guy to get his message out to the world, we’ve done much more than that.
Current Problems (That we plan to solve)
- No easy way to Remember Events, Promotions, Ads, etc.
- Advertising is currently built around Global and not Local, which is where we step in.
- Current Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems try to “capture” people’s data and use guess work.
- Facebook Ads and Google Adwords do not help build “Relationships” between Consumers and Vendors.
- Analytics on most Advertising platforms are confusing.
The Breakdown (This is pretty much for the Business Side)
(Vendors) will want to create an Announcer/Venue on our site.
They will be given a "Support Us" button on their display on our site. (API's for websites will be available soon)
Once they have an Announcer or Venue, they are ready to make Announcements.
Any Announcements (The Advertisements) that they make can be placed in "Our Community" for other members of our site to "Remember", or if they have "Supporters" they have the ability to push Announcements directly to those Supporter's “Memory Bank” (like an email inbox/calendaring system, but much smarter).
Well it is pretty simple really! The holy grail of Advertising is having others "Remember" what you are promoting, right?
So lets say you are promoting a 25% Off Jeans in July Sale! Well you most likely want to start promoting this sale at least a month early so you can get as many people in, to save a little money as you try to off-load those jeans from inventory. Each person that sees your Announcement will be able to click "Remember This" and keep up with it in their Memory Bank.
This means anytime they go into their Memory Bank(inbox/calendaring system) between the date they Remembered your promotion and the date it expires,that "25% Off Jeans in July Sale!" is going to be slowly, but surely working its way into the members vision. All Announcements on Free Your Memory are time sensitive and can be sorted "chronologically" if that is the sort option that is chosen. (Much better than email, and all expired Announcements are deleted automatically.)

Announcement Tracking Terms
Unaware: Number of members who have not yet viewed your Announcement.
Aware: Number of members that have opened the Announcement.
Not Interested: Number of Members that chose to [Forget It] before the courtesy window.
Withdrawn: Number of Members that have Remembered, then chosen to Forget it before it expires.
Undecided: Number of Members that are Promoted or Recommended to, but have not Remembered the Announcement after the courtesy window expires.
- Remembered: Number of Members that are currently Remembering the Announcement.
How do we Charge? (Our site has more info.)
On our site we allow you to purchase "Credits" in different package amounts. Credits cost only 10 cents.
Credits are only taken when:
- A Member finds your Announcement in our Community and decides to Remember it.
- A Supporter receives an Announcement in their Memory Bank and decides to Keep it, or they become "Undecided" due to non action on their part.
(Either way the Announcement stays with a person and is usable until the event expires.)
Basically for $5 dollars you could have 50 people Remember your (party, performance, promotion, etc.)
We do not charge for clicks, impressions, or anything like that. We do not believe you should have "Credits" taken unless a real service is provided, such as an Announcement that stays with a person and is usable until the event expires, as stated above.
How Citizens Rule (The Personal Side)
On Free Your Memory your privacy is our top priority, and Big Data isn't going to like it. All those Cookies they use to track your every move, all those attempts they make to get you to see their Ads!
It's a no brainer in our opinion that citizens will choose to Remember what they want to Remember and there isn't much you can do about that.
Your Privacy Options
- Profile Picture is shown under Supporters area and Announcements can be tailored and sent directly to each one of these Supporters individually.
- Anonymous- This adds a count to the Anonymous Supporter tally of an Announcer/Venue, and no identity is shown.
- Announcements cannot be tailored to these individuals.
What the Future Holds
These are what some are calling "Intentcasting" and we understand that one thing has to be built at a time. This is definitely a part of our vision for what the site is to become, but words we live by are: "One day at a time"
About the Team
My name is Jason Barker and I am the Creator and CEO of the project. I have 10 yrs of technology experience under my belt, with many different specialities ranging from Installing Talking Bus systems all over the United States to setting up City Surveillance Systems for police stations throughout North Carolina. My lead developer and CTO is Geoffery Reiss, with 25+ years of database/application design & programming experience. Our (very part-time) front end developer/UI genius is Natasha Votypka with 15+ years of experience.
Here is our story and how you will be helping!
I personally have 19 months of R & D in this project, boot-strapping it the whole way, growing my team through Craigslist ads and pure determination, and loving every minute of it. Our biggest problem is and always has been lack of Capital!! Investors are very hard to find and even harder when they are continuing to throw Big money at Big Data or these CRM sytstems that like following us around.
My team has taken on the risk with me and they have been working without compensation right along side me for months. My front end developer, Natasha has to work so much elsewhere to feed her family and pay her bills that our development of Free Your Memory is slowed tremendously. I am having to take side jobs to continue paying hosting fees, laywer fees, living costs, etc. My lead developer/CTO, Geoffrey is having to work part-time as well. Basically as you can see we are all spread thin and could really use your help!
