What's up guys, my name is Mark Putong and I'm a filmmaker from Chicago and this is my new project Float. Float is about a young Physics student that enters into his own dream and the only way out is to use a girl "Sky" and a little bit of science.
This is my largest budget film to date and it'll be the first one that is entered into festivals. The help from you guys will really help make this possible for me.
Funding and Rewards
The goal for this is $1100. That is going to the following:
- Equipment rental
- Production Insurance
- Set Design
I've put a lot of my own money into this and have exhausted my funds and just need that small bit extra to make this happen. Luckily I've cut down on costs by finding a great crew that will work for free and want nothing in return but a name in the credits. As well as some equipment donated to me and some locations to use for free.
A few of the rewards you guys can get that I really love are:
- You get a signed DVD with bonus features and bloopers and all that fun stuff
- You get to name a character in the film (within reason of course)
- A box of great things from the set (the scripts used on set with my notes and drawings in it, signed prop, signed DVD, original storyboards and artwork.
- Executive Producer credit
If anyone can fund that is great and you guys are awesome. If you can't that's alright too. Please help spread this project around to friends, family, co-workers. IndieGoGo has a great share function so please use that!
Thank you so much guys for your support!
