Flat Feet Needs Your Support
This is a film about the Kenny in all of us, the underdog, the guy who's been kicked down over and over but keeps getting back up. It's about the people we've hurt and our attempts at reconciliation, not only with them but with ourselves. "Flat Feet" blends physical comedy with an emotional darkness in a deeply personal story about how we persevere through the tough times in our lives.
"Flat Feet" is the passion project of several talented up-and-coming Chicago filmmakers. Aaron J. McGrath, the director of several other visually striking short films, conceived the film in collaboration with actor/comedian Lee Russell, a featured performer at Chicago's Annoyance Theater and founding member of sketch comedy group Long Pork. Along with the cinematography of Andrew Musch, the sound design of Curt Cook, production design by Rebecca Grossman and a score composed by James DeWitt, "Flat Feet" is sure to be a highlight amongst the work of these up-and-coming talents.
Not only is it a story worth telling, but the filmmakers and actors look to highlight the best Chicago has to to offer. The Lakefront Trail is a place of personal significance to many Chicagoans and our aim is to capture some of the spirit of what makes it such a special place. The greatest reward from donating to this project is supporting quality cinema produced independently in Chicago, we've got some really cool incentives lined up that won't be offered anywhere else and we encourage you to take a look at them to the right.
