What is Flame?
Flame is a short film about someone you know - maybe a friend, maybe a colleague, maybe that person you speak to on the train everyday, maybe about you! It is a film about two hearts that were once inseparable but then pulled apart and then being drawn together again by the mysterious laws of nature. However, the tangential forces of marriage and family threaten to smother and extinguish this very Flame of love. Who will prevail?

Why another short film?
The allure of Flame is not just the beautiful story and the gripping narrative. It has a visual story telling that is very unique and you’ll get to witness the product of pushing the camera to it's limits.

Who is the team behind Flame?
Flame is being put together by a very talented group of individuals who love film making and films. Flame was written by Rajesh Naroth along with Krishand K. Rajesh, who has also directed this film and composed it’s music, has produced a couple of excellent short films in the past under the Sonic Tales banner. Kirandeep Karnati architected the surreal production design and it was all brought to life by cinematographer Unni Raveendranathan. Finally, Deergha Sahni and Tanish Chandraprakash play the role of the two beautiful souls who so passionately kindle the Flame.

Why are we out here and what are we requesting?
You deserve quality cinema and we want to make sure that the experience you get while watching Flame puts you in a different world where dreams transform to reality. To give that experience, we are putting in a lot of effort to make sure every aspect of the film has extreme finesse. Unfortunately, in the real world, this costs money and we so badly want to get this movie to you that we are not letting our financial obstacles slow us down. So, here we are hoping that you share our belief in producing a great film and hence help us pay for some of the costs.
