In 2011 Adam Brooks co-wrote and co-directed & edited the award winning film FATHER'S DAY, distributed by TROMA Entertainment. Feelings were hurt, people were injured and nobody was paid. The film itself however, has been praised by AICN, Variety Magazine, Rue Morgue, Fangoria, and LA Weekly. Father's Day also swept the awards ceremonies of both the Toronto After Dark Film Festival AND A Night of Horror International Film Festival.
Now, a feature-length version of our award-winning short FIREMAN is ready to go.
Adam wants desperately to make another film as fun and insane as FATHER'S DAY, if not moreso, but we need your help. Cast and crew need to be paid (minimally.)
We want to bring you another mindfuck of a movie, we just need food and shelter.
Your donation will ensure Astron-6 keeps making films that challenge the norms. Please don't let Father's Day be our last film.
If we don't reach our goal, the money will go towards our next short film.
