Fidoodle is a small design company built by me, Jen Bulthuis.
I design and produce modern, interactive block sets, DIY kits, and flip dolls (among other things) that are inspired by story telling and creative play. Everything made by Fidoodle is made here in Toronto using locally sourced materials like maple wood off-cuts, cardboard, paper and cotton.
Fidoodle needs your support at a critical time in its life. After a few short years on the market, the company is well established and prepared for the next phase of its development. Rising demand has brought with it the need for significant investment in stronger systems of production, including some studio equipment upgrades. Fidoodle needs marketing and administrative help. Equally important, the company needs to invest more in its connection to its “fidoodle community” through building interactive elements on our website, through kids afterschool and summer design labs, through connections at tradeshows, and through collaborative projects with other artisans.
This Indiegogo project will help make some of that investment possible. I want to grow Fidoodle into a small creative industry, right here in Canada, that inspires imaginations with beautiful, playful things. To do that, I need some help. I need some beautiful people to dream, and to invest, with me.
Here are pics of Fidoodle incentives, to be distributed in February and March of 2013 (commissions a little later).
