Girl In Red Productions, founded by actress Gillian Alexy, is thrilled to announce it’s inaugural project – Fever! A Date with Tennessee Williams - three one act plays by one of the greatest playwrights in American history.

"Cavalier For Milady" - a poetic farce that explores repression and indulgence.

"Green Eyes" - the reunion of two newlyweds, separated by the Vietnam War, in steamy New Orleans.

"The One Exception" - confronts two extreme sides of the artist's psyche; the lost soul and the ruthless survivor.

These three one acts address the same raw subject matter as Williams' better-known plays. Written in the late years of his life, these plays have rarely been produced. We want to make them available to a New York audience with performances scheduled to happen in April, 2013.

Girl In Red Productions, along with actress Natalie Engelbert, are committed to bringing these plays to the stage while also providing a spotlight for a highly talented and eager group of artists.

In order to continue to assemble our team and give this production the attention it deserves we have certain financial goals to meet. From theatre rental and rehearsal space, expenses to insurance, advertising and production design fees, there are a myriad of financial responsibilities.

So we humbly ask for your help.

$5,000 - Theater Rental - 2 week run

$1,350 - Rights to three plays – 8 performances

$2750 - 50% of Key personel Stipends, upfront**

$550 - Set Design/Props materials

$800 - Rehearsal space  - 6 weeks

$500 - Publicity 

$400 - Liability Insurance

$200 - Costumes

$300 - Administrative/Marketing Materials

$150 - Lobby Refreshments

                              Total - $12,000

**The balance of the key personel's stipends will come from ticket sales
