The Coalition to Fight Factory Farming is dedicated to empowering people to save the environment, animals, and our own health through our daily food choices.
Since 2010, we have given over 100 presentations to schools, student groups, and community organizations about the widespread ecological, public health, and social justice hazards of factory farming.
The BART Ads
In May, CFFF participated in the BART Blue Sky Contest. The three non-profits that received the most votes on Facebook each won $40,000 worth of advertising on BART, San Francisco's subway system. We came in 2nd place with over 800 votes! Our ads will run in 40 stations, and on 120 subway cars.
What We Need
In order to run the most fantastic, effective ads possible, we need to hire a graphic designer. The total cost of designing the ads will run about $500.
Additional funds will go towards expanding our educational outreach program.
- Donations of as little as $5 are hugely helpful in spreading this important message.
With your help, 300,000 people per day will learn about the impact of factory farming on animals and the environment!
Livestock produce more greenhouse gases than all transportation combined
The ad in BART stations will empower people to reduce their carbon footprint by participating in Meatless Mondays
- 95% of people want farm animals to be well-treated. 99% of farm animals are not.
- The ad on BART cars will empower people to save animals from factory farms by participating in Meatless Mondays.
