Short Summary

Hey there, I'm Christina Cruz and I've been working as a Visual Artist and film maker for over 10 years now. I want to finally get my first feature film made so please help out if you can.

Why is it important?

Have you seen a film about punk where one of the central characters was female? Or Hispanic? Set in Toronto, Ontario? No? Well, it's time to get it done! Let's tell a different kind of story that centres around the early Toronto punk scene. And let it be told by someone who loves punk and always will. Unless of course, you like seeing misrepresentations by people who were never involved at any level in the punk scene.

The cast and crew generously volunteered their time and resources to make this short film happen. They decided to partcipate based on the strength of the entire screenplay.

What We Need & What You Get

We need funding! And we need to keep it independent! We could beg for some government grants but that will mean censoring the film. That means we can't show the early 80s punk scene in all its raw and gritty glory. We have tried reaching out to bigger and more experienced producers but have not heard back. So if you have Speilberg's number give him a holler for us. Thanks! 

To be specific, the funds will go to the production which includes paying our crew and cast, film equipment, craft services (food for our workers), paying for locations if needed, travel costs and anything left will go towards post production. In exchange for your help there will be perks and even producer credits for you. Along with our eternal gratitude.
