When I was seven-years old, I stepped foot into a racing go-kart for the first time. On that day, I knew I wanted to become a professional racing car driver.
Now, at the age of nineteen, I'm continuing the pursuit of my childhood dream. At the same time, pursuing a full-time academic curriculum in (motorsport-concentrated) mechanical engineering.
During my twelve years of competition experience, I've been fortunate enough to be involved with opportunities in various forms of motorsport.
Presently, I have a unique scenario on offer to me.
Vicktor Volpe (friend, and past campaign contributor) and his Volpe Racing team have invited me to be a co-driver in their Mazda race car in a National Auto Sport Association endurance race at New Jersey Motorsports Park, later this Fall.
As you will see when watching the video, the car - the Volpe Art Car, created by Ian Pawelec and Vicktor - is no ordinary racing car! It is a literal work of art - one that we will use to create our own unique "artwork" with.
This opportunity to drive in a new race car, at a new track, against new (to me) competitors with a different sancitioning body is one not to be missed.
I'm reaching out to my colleagues, friends, and family to help me take advantage of this opportunity that I have been provided.
Details can be found below.
THE GOAL: $1,771
Where is the money going?
- Airplane ticket
- Sanctioning body registration
- Event entry fee
- "Wear and tear" (tires and stuff)
- Race Fuel
Anything over $1,771 will be reinvested into my race karting project.
Anything under $1,771 is still going to be used to go race in New Jersey...but, we wont have to worry about that anyways.
