eSfere isn’t a rival or competitor. It’s a different gaming option.
Hello again friends! Another item we would like to address, since it has been talked quite a lot in the online community: we are not copying anyone or trying to crash any other game console developer’s party. A lot of the confusion has come about because of our game controller.
1) Yes, it is a touch pad.
2) No, our touch pad does not have a screen. It is simply a flat multitouch surface.
So: how can I play if I am touching a flat surface with no visual indicators on it? Simple: we have integrated a mapping system, so that if you touch the touch pad, that area or part of the surface you are touching will be shown on your TV (like a little shade or circle). So if you touch the top right hand corner of the touch pad, you will see a visual indicator on the top right hand corner of the game that is being played on your TV. That allows you to place yourself comfortably in the game and make the control functionality as smooth as possible.
The detachable silicone buttons are simply given as an option for those who like playing with buttons. You would simply place them in the areas where you would normally use your fingers on the touch surface. Since we have integrated the mapping system, you will ba able to see on your TV where you are placing the silicone buttons.
I hope that helps to clarify an important part of the technical doubts that have come up during our campaign.
13 days to go….

Hi everyone. We’ve entered the final 2 weeks, and yes, we are quite far away from our goal. Our console has gotten quite a lot of coverage on all sorts of online media (blogs, web sites, Twitter) but the backers ain’t coming in!
One concern we’ve seen from lots of people is that our goal is too high, and they are afraid that if they put the money and it doesn’t reach the $390,000 mark: what happens to their money? Well, it’s quite simple: it is automatically refunded to you by Indiegogo when the campaign comes to an and. As you can see on the right side of the screen (right above the perks) this is a fixed funding campaign. That means that we will only receive the funds if $390,000 is raised by Monday January 21st.
Therefore please spread the word to friends and family and let’s try to make a miracle happen in these last 13 days of our campaign!
Regards,
J.
