Update 3-20-2013: Tom submits his comments!
"I am pleased to have had the opportunity to visit James at Liberty Energy Solutions. I was intent on taking measurements of his "energy multiplier" to see what I might learn of this "multiplication anomaly". I must report that I measured a constant 810 Watts on the 220 VAC 1ph input when the system was running without any load. When the resistive load was added, (9 - 100W light bulbs measured at 870 Watts actual 7.56A-115VAC TRMS), the input load requirements only increased by 363 Watts... 1173 Watts Total. I can say that I remain curious as to why the load to the input did not nearly reflect the load added to the output even after allowing for some differences expected in load/no load efficiency variables. Energy added?
A great deal of testing and evaluation is in order and I know that James has plans for the next prototype which will allow for a great deal more discovery and validation. He has plans to improve measurement methods and increase control over the major adjustments to further enhance experimentation and refinement. I am excited about what comes next. The concept is simple, the potential is huge!"
Update 3-14-2013: Tom Velnosky Reviews Technology
We were blessed to have Tom come for the day to review our device and the technology that makes it work. We had a great day and I will be posting Tom’s own comments soon, so keep a look out for it. I will note that we are not and have not opened our doors to just anyone to review our technology. Tom is one of only a handful of people willing to sign a non-disclosure to review it. Tom works with Mercy Ships and we felt we could build a relationship with him and possibly serve needs that we both have. The ship they use has great energy needs at a great cost to the charity. We have started looking at developing a solution that could be used in their unique environment. Please note that this was not an official visit by Mercy Ships. Tom has a personal passion as an engineer to review alternative projects like ours. I will post Tom’s comments about his visit as soon as I receive them.
What Would You Do With Your Own Sustainable Clean Energy Source?
The technology we are developing is a supplemental generator. It supplements any electrical source of supplied energy by generating an increase at the output while reducing the demand placed on the energy source at the input. It is in short a source for sustainable, clean electricity for the life of the device at a fraction of the cost. We have created a better way to make electricity that is the perfect complement to solar, wind and current fossil fuel systems. The best part is that it is sustainable! This technology will greatly increase the longevity of our current fossil fuel resource stores, while at the same time making more alternative power generation methods far more efficient. With solar it takes too many panels to get the power you need and wind turbines have to be too big. Our technology means that fewer panels are needed to create more energy and smaller turbines are adequate. You can also integrate it with our current grid connection and draw less energy while actually increasing the energy available to you locally. In grid integrations you are isolated from the grid so brown-outs and surges do not affect you. When integrated with a UPS you can continue when the grid fails where most everyone else cannot and for longer periods of time. Sound too good to be true? Just watch the video. In fact, since discovering this I have had this technology and the science that makes it work reviewed by six engineers, one high school Physical Science teacher with a masters degree in Physical Science, and one B.S. of Physics. In the beginning, they all say basically the same thing, “Everything I have studied tells me it is not possible.” After careful review of the science of the device, their comments are, “I can’t see why this approach won’t work.” I believe the fact is it does work. What Is An Energy Multiplier?
An energy multiplier is a type of generator that produces more electricity than it consumes. We have currently, as seen in the video, an experiment that is multiplying the output to a load by just under two times. We can add a 585 watt load to the device while only seeing a 296 watt load added to the power supply input side. That may not seem like much, but anyone who understands electrical circuits knows you are not supposed to be able to do that. Watch the video and see me do just that! We want to build a unit that has a five times capacity and hope to get to ten times by year end. “What does all this mean to me,” you ask? There is a simple explanation. The most common benefit is to integrate between your current grid serviced electrical supply and use less energy even if you increase your consumption. It is even possible to sell back to your electric company a portion of your unused energy reducing your bill even further, while helping your electric company by providing them with clean energy to make available on the grid. What possibilities does the device have beyond residential installations? Honestly, the science behind this technology tells us that it will never be as efficient in small sizes, like residential, as it will be in much larger sizes. It really starts to prove its worth at 100k watts and up to possibly 5,000,000 watts. For instance, in our model we are going to produce from the funds raised from this campaign it will have a maximum output of 10,000 watts at a multiplier of five times. That means the energy used from a power source would be 2,000 watts. The increase of energy at the output is 8,000 watts. Another design has a 100,000 watt unit at a five times output. If we do the math, we see that the required input from a power source would be 20,000 watts giving us an increase of 80,000 watts! That is a difference of 72,000 watts from the smaller unit. So you can easily see that as we make them bigger the impact increases significantly.

Did you know that 79% of Africa, the second largest continent in the world based on population and land mass, has no access to electricity? This makes the development of these nations very difficult. The challenges abound for the people to be productive while there is light. There is no extra time to do anything but what is required to survive. India is the fourth largest consumer of energy in the world they have a grid that is overburdened and underfunded. They have frequent blackouts that cover massive areas and affect hundreds of millions of people. Hospitals to barber shops, even the public transportation system can grid to a halt. They are being squeezed from all sides be it fuel shortage or the shoddy grid infrastructure.
The products we are developing are the perfect solutions to the energy problems being faced around the world. It is my hope that this campaign will be a wild success beyond what we anticipate so that we can be aggressive in our development pursuits. The need is urgent and the task massive but with planning and persistence we can make every contribution make a difference.
