A dance-driven ghost story for the screen.
A young man in transit finds his world turned upside down when he hears a scream for help and decides to try and help. Instead he becomes the one in danger as he discovers there is a haunting presence that resides within the building.
...has been one of constant change. The choreography has been re-shaped at each stage as we developed our story and vision to create a truly collaborative work made for the screen.
Working with the themes that inspired the initial choreography, we searched for a story that would explore an internal conflict, a fight within the self. A script was written while we scouted for locations and the choreography was re-imagined to capture the story within these spaces.
We are currently working with our dancers Paul Walker and Vi Lam who now have the chance to improvise with the work and add their own shape to the story alongside the camera, music and design before we move into the final stages of post production.

WHERE WE’RE AT:
While this is a very self sufficient project and we are well on the way to making it happen there are some costs that we can’t avoid.
The money raised will cover the location fee, insurance, lighting and some post production costs.
This is a work that we believe has great potential for playing at festivals from a short film perspective as well as in the dance world. It works with a universal theme that can be understood in any culture or country and isn’t limited by the spoken word.
This is a unique work that will hopefully aid more projects coming together in this fashion. Promoting collaboration between the different artistic mediums.

OTHER WAYS TO HELP
While every cent that is put towards this project will aid it’s path, we couldn’t be more grateful then if people share the link and spread the word. Pass it on with facebook, or tell your family when you next see them. If you have a love of dance and film and feel these worlds should collide much more often then please help us make this happen!
