I am permanently disabled after being hit by a van while walking in a cross walk. I have only partial use of my left arm and serious joint issues. I have also been diagnosed with Secondary Sjorgren's as a result of my Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is usually not dangerous but I have advanced stages which attacks my nervous system as well as my exocrine glands. I need to use a cane at times and have difficulty standing and walking for more than a few minutes at a time. I am currently enrolled in University of Phoenix to get my business degree in order to get a good desk job that I can perform with my limitations in order to provide my children(I have two. I couldn't find a photo with all three of us unfortunately) with a better future. My identity was stolen and my credit ruined so loan options are minimal.
Anything raised here would go to tuition for my last year and a babysitter for the hours I am in school. I do plan on going to a community college night school after I get a job to get the required education to fulfill my long term goal.
My long term goal is to open a youth center in my local city (Elko, Nevada) because this is a very small town and a lot of youth get in trouble because there is not much to do. There are a lot of teen pregnancies and drug use. I am hoping that by opening this center I will make this city a better place. In order to do this I need to first finish my education.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my situation.
