I am searching for American Justice. Children in bad schools are searching. College students drowning in debt are searching. Overqualified yet under/unemployed are searching.

We are all $earching for American Justice.

"I think the first duty of society is justice." ~Alexander Hamilton.

I’m an educator, actress, writer and comedian. I am still searching for justice in America.

$earching for American Justice: The Pursuit of Happiness is an interactive satire inspired by my exploration of our Bill of Rights as a history teacher. My innocent students stopped by the police without a warrant are searching for American Justice. My summer school students expected to learn in classrooms without AC are searching for American Justice. My students working hard to achieve the American Dream yet drowning in college debt and no job prospects, are searching for American Justice.

If you were able to meet AmericanJustice, what would you say?

As election2012 gets closer, $earching for American Justice: The Pursuit of Happiness explores our American Dreams and Nightmares as we pursue happiness. In America, despite 16 million children languishing in poverty, unemployment still hovering at 10% and record levels of homelessness, increasing numbers of reality tv shows, magazines and websites are dedicated to 24 hour celebrity gossip and some news outlets pretend to be fair and ballanced.

#reality

Hence $earching for American Justice: The Pursuit of Happiness, stars a legally blonde and legally blind socialite named AmericanJustice who loves being loud and right at the same time. AJ is preoccupied with red carpet appearances as she strives to elevate herself from d-list to A-list celebrity status. Her patriotic bling symbolizes her love for current policies that benefit the rich. Will justice see the light of day in America?

Tell AJ your AmericanDreams.

$earching for American Justice: The Pursuit of Happiness is inspired by various movements to gain justice throughout history. From The American Revolution to Occupy Wall Street.

Thomas Jefferson asked-

What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?
