DNC Marriage Equality Fund

Brett Johns and Dustin Baker have been elected as delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC. Since President Obama has come out for Marriage Equality, we want to ensure that it becomes part of the national party platform.

The estimated cost of attendance for the convention is $2000 per person. However, we believe that by carpooling, bringing our own food, and sharing a room, we can do it by raising $1000 and also chipping in our own money to cover any additional costs.

Dustin Baker has a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Georgia and works as an academic advisor. He is commited to education and has been politically active a the state and local level of politics.

Brett Johns has a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia and has been working for over a year to find full-time work at the University while working part time and running a small online business. He can truly related to those who are searching for full-time worki in this tough economic climate.
