Welcome to the Dimiria Indiegogo Fund Raising Campaign
Firstly, allow us to humbly introduce ourselves, we are Softnetix Entertainment, a small indie game development team. We are very passionate about games and having played numerous online/offline fantasy games, we decided to come together to develop our own game. The Dimiria Project is our pioneer project and we started it because we wanted to create a game that is not only enjoyable and exciting to play, but also somewhat unique than the rest of similar titles.
WHAT IS DIMIRIA ALL ABOUT?
Dimiria: The Agrarian Falls is a single player 3D action packed RPG (role playing game) based an original story written by Dylan Tan (that’s me!) and David McCrae. Dimiria uses a dark medieval fantasy theme and it’s based on an adventure story about the rise of a group of heroes who, together, set out to save the kingdom.

Not another generic fantasy RPG. The world of Dimiria is anything but boring. We have spent countless hours in studying, planning and revising the world of Dimiria with one goal in mind, and that is to make Dimiria interesting, different and importantly exciting to play.
Awesome Fast pace action oriented combat with companions! There are three classes of heroes that player could choose from (the Fighter, Mage and Rogue). Each of these heroes has their own set of specialties and abilities, leading to unique gameplay. The player will encounter a total of eight companions throughout the course of the game. These companions will during all subsequent quests, fight alongside the player.
Travel across various and carefully crafted landscapes. Explore the widely varied terrain of Dimiria, rugged mountains, scorching deserts and hazardous jungles. Embark on an epic quest to save Dimiria from the havoc and destruction that besets the kingdom of Andhere Terrae. With a group of loyal friends fend off the invasion of the Hiristian army.
Emphasis on story. Dimiria is a thrilling dark fantasy story with danger lurking round every corner. Rampant with magic and incredible creatures, we promise an interesting plot and unique gameplay.

WHAT ARE THE FUNDS BEING SPENT ON?
Since the inception of this project thus far, the project has been almost 100% self funded, and while we do have sufficient funds to see us through to the final stages of development, additional funds would be required to put in the finishing touches and also to launch the game itself. At the time of this writing, Dimiria is already at Pre-Alpha stage and we estimate that by the end of this campaign (next 30 days), we will reach late Alpha stage and possibly reaching to an early Beta. We have put a lot of effort into making this game and we are still working hard to make this a better game. The main plot, storyboard and design are all complete, however there is still work to be done to further fix bugs, polishing, and optimization and this also adding additional features into the game.
In the next coming months (after the funds being raised), we will start looking into further enhancing and polishing the world maps/landscape even further, improving the character motion (i.e. animation), adding more special effects (i.e. particle effects for spells, and as such), unique sounds (i.e. sound FX), character voices (to give life to the characters), and of course impactful music. The fund would also be used to purchase additional arts and digital assets, and additional technology for the game. The more funds we have, the better polish the game would be and we hope to create an outstanding game both in term of graphics and gameplay.
We will provide weekly updates exclusively to indiegogo backers. We are committed to total transparency, ensuring that backers get accurate information regarding game development. There will also be a private online community set up for the backers to discuss the project and air their thoughts regarding the game's content and direction. Backers will also have access to help test the game once a beta is available. Once the game is finished, backers will receive the completed version.

These items are EXCLUSIVE only for the campaign and won't be made available after the game is launched. FREQUENT ASKED QUESTION (FAQ)
Q: So how the gameplay going to be like?
A: There three main elements to Dimiria’s gameplay, which is sound familiar to any RPG fan: exploration, combat, and questing. While exploring, you’ll control a single hero (in third person, over-the-shoulder view which can be rotated around the active character) who explores various unique lands, caverns, dungeons and castles while fighting large numbers of enemies and collecting equipments, gold, and other items. The player assumes the role of a warrior, mage or rogue.
Q: Where do I join the discussion community?

Q: What happens if you go over the goal?
A: The extra money will be put back into the game. The higher it goes, the better we could make the game!
Q: When can I expect the game to be finished?
A: We were aiming to finish in November of 2012, but if in light of the increased budget, we're planning on expanding production to ensure we make the best game possible.
Q: What are the system requirements for Dimira?
A: While we don't yet know the exact numbers (and we're still actively optimizing the game). We'll give you specifics as soon as we know ourselves.
Q: What are the guidelines for Naming NPC, Weapon, Location or Quest?
A: To keep it simple we'd like to keep it to three (3) simple guidelines:
- No sexual content (sorry). That means no genitals, innuendo or implied phallus hidden in the negative space.
- No trademarked or otherwise plagiarized name for character names, location.
- Try to keep things in a vaguely appropriate theme and “Non-modern” theme. For mini quest, it should be parallel with the main story medieval fantasy theme. We could not and will not make unrealistic quest such as “fly a plane” but as long it is doable, we will figure out a way to do them.
We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have this opportunity to be able to share our project with you. Rest assure, we'll do everything we can to create a game that we all can be proud of, a one of its kind unique RPG, and most importantly, one that is enjoyable and meaningful to you. After a year of development, we are very proud of what we’ve accomplished, but we still have a long journey ahead of us to complete the game.
