IT’S INCENTIVE TIME!
With the clock clicking down on the fundraising campaign, we are offering up a couple additional incentives for both current donors and future donors alike.
If you donate $50 or more from now until the end of campaign (July 29th), your name will be entered into a hat and one lucky winner will receive an evening out for a Seattle-based Happy Hour with the writer/director of “Deadline”, Doug Stapleton (transportation not included / location & date will be mutually determined).
The winner will receive two drinks, appetizers and the opportunity to learn more about the project. All current donors that have contributed $50 and above will automatically be entered to win. The winner will be announced on Monday, July 30th.
If that’s enough, there’s the Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine Perk.
N. Brandon Leahy is a Licensed Acupuncturist & Chinese Herbalist with the Seattle Integrative Center. A thriller like “Deadline” can cause a lot of tension and what better way to relieve some stress then to receive some acupuncture treatments.
If you’ve ever wanted to try acupuncture or wanted to learn more about Chinese Medicine, then you should donate to “Deadline” today. Why? Because you will receive the following:
$25 to $50 Pledge Level = One 30 minute session
$100 Pledge Level = One 1 hour session
$250 Pledge Level = Three 1 hour sessions
$500 Pledge Level = Four 1 hour sessions
$750 Pledge Level = Five 1 hour sessions
$1000 Pledge Level = Six 1 hour sessions
Brandon has offices in both Seattle and Kirkland, and you have until November 30, 2012 to use these services. All current donors at the $25 pledge level and up will also receive their coupon/punch card at the end of this campaign.
Additionally, the multiple session packages can be shared between couples. To learn more about Brandon, please visit: http://www.seattleic.com

Deadline is a thriller that centers on a young, ambitious businesswoman that finds herself working late into the night trying to finish a last minute proposal. When she realizes she’s not alone, meeting the deadline is the least of her worries – it’s surviving the night.
“The story idea for Deadline was inspired by actual events when I was working late at the office finishing a client proposal. I am passionate about Deadline because I have always enjoyed a good thriller and Deadline is just that.
While the film is a short, I am approaching it as a “big” film. The visual style and production design of Deadline will feel substantial for a film of this size. Deadline is a film with strong characters, intrigue, and of course, suspense.” - Doug Stapleton
WHAT WE NEED AND WHERE IT’S GOING:
We’ve started this fundraising campaign to help raise $10,400 for pre-production and production costs. However, our ultimate fundraising goal is $14,715. Any money raised beyond $10,400 will go directly toward post production.
From pre-production to post production and everything in between, you have our commitment that we will stretch every dollar to obtain the maximum amount of production value.
The best way for us to maximize your donations is to minimize the Indiegogo fee structure. If we fall short of our goal, Indiegogo takes a 12% fee of the total money raised. However, by meeting or exceeding our goal, Indiegogo only takes a 7% fee.
No donation is too small. We can’t stress that enough. Every pledge enables our production to proceed and every donation is greatly appreciated!
Pre-production: (i.e. Casting, Rehearsals, Location Scouting, Printing) $1,300.00
Production: (i.e. Cast and Crew, Equipment Rentals, Food, Costume & Props) $9,100.00
Post Production: (i.e. Editing, Sound Design, Music Composition, DVD Mastering and Film Festival Entry Fees): $4,315.00
TOTAL BUDGET: $14,715.00
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP:
Whether or not you are able to donate financially, we would greatly appreciate you SPREADING THE WORD by telling your friends, family and co-workers about Deadline and our fundraising campaign!
