IMPORTANT NOTE (1):The $500 goal is not the money we need to fund the game. We set this as low because the game is almost in beta and we need your participation and support. Also we want to pay the lower possible commission taken out from our raised money by Indiegogo, but want to let you know this game has not received any kind of previous funding. Please support us also on Steam Greenlight, we need your vote to be one of the selected games to be published on Steam as soon as possible. Now we are getting less and less votes, because we are further from the home page!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT NOTE (2): Darkout beta is out, if you purchase our game now you can access and play our closed beta through our game forums (www.darkoutgame.net).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT NOTE (3): We are doing our best to keep up with everyone joining the forums and purchasing the game. Currently to gain access you will need to receive an e-mail confirming your purchase. We go through the list of new purchases frequently, but can't add everyone within 30 minutes of donating on Indiegogo. It can take up to 8 hours because the admin who can add your details to the server that generates your account and password for the game lives in the US and I am in the UK. We will get you access as quickly as we possibly can. :)

Hi, my name is Adrian Banninga, founder of Allgraf and Game director of Darkout. I would like to take a moment and tell you a little bit about myself and the team, and why we need your support to make Darkout a success.
Behind Allgraf, the name I used for my previous freelance works, there is a bunch of 9 people from all over the world who joined me on this project that I’m passionate about. All of them have been working for more than a year on Darkout with a royalty-based contract.
At this present moment, we wanted to start the sales for the game in its beta version on our website, because none of the team members have any funding and we need all the support we can muster from the game community in order to complete the game with as many features as possible for the initial release.
As you could guess, we are not asking for a lot of money in our campaign, and the main reason is because money is not the main focus of our campaign. However, I have been working in this industry for 12 years, I have spent most of that time working on big budget games (UT2004, 007 Nightfire, Forza Horizon, among others) for big companies where gamers’ feedback is not really taken into account.
Here with our small and humble game Darkout we want to give you more than only a digital piece of entertainment. I’ve always wanted to let the community be a part of the game. The way to do that is by offering the chance to come up with new ideas about weapons and other new elements so that gamers can discuss them with the team. In this way we will be able to make the game you would love to play.

ABOUT DARKOUT
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darkout is being developed by Allgraf, a new Indie developer founded by Adrian Banninga who has over 12 years of experience in the games industry, starting with the award winning intro for Gunman Chronicles. Working on many titles such as 007 Nightfire, Unreal Tournament 2004, and more recently Star Wars Kinect and Forza Horizon.
Pulling together a team of talented individual based all around the globe, ranging from experienced artists and programmers to new and upcoming talent as well as a seasoned Game/Hollywood composer.
The game is more than a passion for the team, and up to this point has had no financial backing of any kind, demanding over a year of late nights and sacrificed weekends for everyone. (our spouses and GF’s are not happy! those of us who have any left …)

Platforms:
Darkout will be released for PC first and then Mac. We will port the game to Ipad 3 months after the initial release and if all goes well to Xbox Live soon after.
Note for people for those who think this game is a Terraria HD:
It’s really hard to create a new genre with every game you make. If you look around, you will notice that every innovation comes from a mixture between copying something that works well and adding some interesting new features that makes the game unique and with its own personality. Obviously we took some ideas from Terraria, as Battlefield took ideas from Call of Duty and vice versa. The difference here is that this game has been produced with 0% budget and 100% of passion, adding new features and with an atmosphere that no other game in the genre has at the moment.
