Why Should You Support This Show?

Because you love comedy.  Because you love geeks.  Because you love fantasy.  Because you love LARP.  Because you love girl LARPers.  Because you have always secretly wanted to LARP.  Because you have no idea what LARPing is and you're dying to see what we have to show you!

We love making Indie original series.  We love it because the web is the place where we get to tell the stories we want to tell.  Damsels and Dragons is a story that delights and tickles us with characters that make us laugh out loud. 

However, it's not easy to gather the crew, costumes, props, actors and feed everyone on an Indie budget.  Thankfully we have Greg Aronowitz to make amazing costumes and direct the best indie film crew, who are just CHOMPING AT THE BIT to get to work on this.  But we do need to pay them something, even if it's just enough to cover gas.  Seriously, that's gotta tell you something.  They love this project so much they are willing to work 14 hour days FOR GAS MONEY!

We need your help to make this show as badass as it can be.  We really think it can be badass and funny and lovely and badass.  YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT...WE SAID IT TWICE.

What We Need & What You Get

This show takes place partially in a fantasy world, and it's about people who Live Action Role Play.  The incredibly talented Greg Aronowitz is going to make our costumes and props (FREE LABOR, folks), but the materials and tools he'll need to do that are NOT free.  The LARPers need armor, maces, swords, cloaks...EVERYTHING AWESOME IS WHAT WE'RE SAYING.  Greg's going to make the show look incredible, but we need help covering his materials.

 

Also, we do have a great crew and cast of people who want to help us make this show a reality, but every day we shoot we not only need to feed everyone but we'll need to pay for our location (the show is a BIT too epic to guerrilla shoot in public...trust us on this).  We're also hoping to have a little left over to pay our crew a little something, even if it's just the gas money to drive out to a forest somewhere.  After all that, if we have enough left, we're hoping to also throw something towards our post-production staff.  Special effects, editing, and an epic soundtrack.  People are so excited about this show that they are willing to help us out, but we'd love to be able to give them something for their time.
