Welcome to Dad on Avail!
Hey, I'm Nick Bush. I'm making a web series called Dad On Avail. It's a (sort of) autobiographical look at my life as an actor and a new dad.
The Idea
After my wife went back to work, I began taking our daughter with me to auditions. Being an actor is challenging, but doing it while caring for a helpless infant can be downright ridiculous. Parenting and acting are equal parts terrifying and incredibly rewarding. At least it's never dull.
Our campaign is simple. We're raising money to shoot THREE episodes. Once we've finished production and the shows are ready, we'll then pitch the show to buyers for a full season and more.

Without you, the show would just sit in my brain along with highlights of Joe Montana throwing to Jerry Rice and Pearl Jam playing Kansas City in 2003 (it was raining and they opened with Release, a flash of lightining lit the sky, and Ed said "Hi Dad". What We Need
We're hoping to raise $3000. That's all what we need to get some great people aboard and this thing in the can. It will cover equipment rental, props and sets, wardrobe, food for the crew, and our post-production needs.
