Benefit to Indiegogo Crowdfunders
The project will benefit up to 20 Crowdfunders that need a little help in writing a professional campaign profile, building a crowd of potential donors with social media, writing press releases that will get picked up by the media, and then promoting their news articles through social media channels to reach even more donors with their marketing campaigns.
Do Social Media and Press Releases Work?
Yes, but only when done correctly. Addison Shelton, founder of TaskLabs, had a great idea and launched an Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign. His campaign was running out of steam and was worried about how to boost his numbers from 46% to 100% with only 18 days left.
First, we showed him how to reach several hundred thousand more people using social media, and then we gave him direction on how to write a targeted press release with SEO in mind. Then we built a precise database of media contacts that covered his subject matter and wrote a short, simple media pitch that conveyed we understood the reporter’s editorial environment and why the story would be a good one for their readers.
His first release received 20,000 impressions and 200 reads, but after following our direction, his second press release achieved 150,000 impressions and 900 reads and earned a number of positive news stories including one on C|NET. His campaign quickly zipped to 100% funded with 9 days to go and ended up with a 124% of his original goal, which raised $39,821. We are now offering the same professional advice to anyone that wants it, preferably before their Crowdfunding campaign begins.
What Does Front Page PR Need?
We need a minimum of $10,800 to help twenty Indiegogo Crowdfunders maximize their use of social media and provide direction on how to write successful press releases and conduct targeted media relations campaigns, minus 7% to pay Indiegogo’s commission. This breaks down to $500 per Crowdfunding client. We won’t make much money unless we surpass our goal by a large margin, but our main goal is to help twenty Crowdfunder become more successful.
What Do Indiegogo Crowdfunders Receive?
Indiegogo Crowdfunders receive a superior deal on social media/PR services that would usually cost them each a minimum of $3,000 for a month’s worth of service. Customers will be served on a first donation, first served basis. If you are making a benevolent donation, we will setup a conference call with you to discuss who we think are the best clients to help and let you make the final decision on who benefits from your donation, but reserve the right to say no if we think the project is doomed.
