About the Film: CONTRADICTION
CONTRADICTION is a feature film that is estimated to be around an hour and fourty minutes. We will be filming it at 4K (IMAX quality). This film lands somewhere between documentary and psychological thriller. We are planning to film it in the metropolitan areas of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. We will be premiering at film festivals in the spring of 2013.
From the inner city to the subconscious, everything changes once our protagonist Nathan Shrill witnesses a murder from afar, and then befriends the murderer. Our film will tell the story of obsession overcoming fear. The realism of the setting combined with the surreal exploration in the complexities of humanity. In this film depicting rebirth, the story is real, the characters are real. What happens when the line between reality and fiction is blurred?
This film is going to be gripping and intriguing. Crazy and sane. Ludicrous and provocative. It will be a CONTRADICTION in itself. Help us make it happen. The writing of this film has been six years in the making. Gathering ideas and stories from all walks of life and mixed into a compelling script that will change the way you view the world. In this psychological thriller lives will be made and broken. We want to change your perception, help us help you!

This Film is BIG

Whether or not we reach the fundraising goal set we will still push onward to make this film. No contributions will go to waste and we refuse to give up. This film is six years in the making and there is no turning back now.
Our Needs and Your Rewards
Alright so we're not asking to buy the world, just to film it. Making a movie has it setbacks, actual cash being one of them. We're doing this campaign to support the love of filmmaking, and specifically our film, CONTRADICTION. The money you donate will be going to general pre-production, production, post-production, festival, and marketing costs.
The money will be used for actor compensation for taking time out of their days to work with us; but also for props, transportation to the different shooting locations, music licensing fees, location permits and to rent equipment so this movie can be in the best quality possible. We want to be able to book and confirm the cast, locations and licensing as soon as possible to get this film rolling. After all the production costs we will be allocating funds to marketing and festival costs. By budgeting for these cost we hope that you will be able to see the film on a silver screen near you.
We know the economy is tough right now which is one of the reasons we're doing this campaign at all. We're in college and taking time and money to try and make this dream come true, but we need some help. A feature film is no easy feat but we're willing to try to prove that it's possible with a little help. If our total goal isn't reached then aspects of our overall plan are going to have to be cut and the film will have to be revised for shootablity. Please help us avoid this extreme devastation.
In return for your generous donations we have listed some perks to catch your eye, and these aren't just any perks. Everything is helpful and so we want to give back to you as well for your selflessness. We understand the economy is tough, we feel it too, so please just give what you can!
How Can YOU Help?
If you can't donate financially, please take a minute or two to like this campaign, to share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, MySpace, etc. to visit our website at www.contradictionthemovie.com. The most successful campaigns are those that are spread by word of mouth, and that's not something we can do on our own; we need YOU. We need you to tell you mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, lovers, friends, or anyone you see walking on the street that they need to check out the groundbreaking film, CONTRADICTION.
Like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, send our YouTube link or give us a shout-out on your blog! Share our campaign and dream with your friends and family! Thank you for your help spreading the word and for your love and support through this crazy journey that is filmmaking.
