I'm T-Rave from Kansas City, and I have been producing online content for more than 3 years. In that time I have been featured on multiple websites for the videos I have produced and have become passionate about informing and helping others online.
We as humans make what the internet is. Yes, there is big business but for the most part we flock to our easy connectivity to view the content that our friends, family, and even strangers produce. Whether it's a product review, status update, blog post or other form we are contributing to what the internet is. We have the power to share. Some might not know how to do that or want to grow in how they share their world with the world, so that is where this project comes in.
Follow me as I prepare, and live in Taiwan for 3 months producing such content and in turn I will take the view behind the scenes to see how it is produced. Sharing my experiences and techniques so others are encouraged to share their story as well.
We are the producers of the internet and we all have a story. The purpose of this campaign is to produce content revolving around my journey in Taiwan but also encourage others to do the same by sharing their world with the world.
The Plan Through every step of my journey the viewer will have access to the content produced and see how it's made. My goal is to sign up for as many services as possible to use the platforms to better educate users. This will help new users see where to begin. Each week while I am in Taiwan I will focus specifically on a platform and show all the inner workings and the capabilities of each service I use.
A least once a week a vlog, video blog, will be made. Multiple times a week a blog entry will be written; And each day a photo will be shared. Along with these will come the behind the scenes with tutorials or extra footage revealing how it was produced.
So what do I need?
The funds raised for the campaign is to help with a slew of different things. Even though most the services I will be exploring are free to the end user, I want to be prepared in different ways so that I can help all user levels learn how to produce and share. First, it helps provide many different tools that in other means I would not have access to. Such tools will involve camera's, software, and a few other pieces of hardware to create diversity of how I produce. Secondly, it helps with the overhead of running the main site and helps pay for some of the premium services that will be required with the amount of content produced.
Other Ways You Can Help?
Share this with others! Whether you donate monetary or not, you can still share with friends and family about this journey. You already addicted to content, whether you claim it or not, so share it through Facebook, Twitter, or even better, through your own site. A special reward is in place if you contribute and prove that you helped spread the word ;)
