Foremost, we are producing a full-feature MOVIE about the difficulties of urban life. How dreams create reality, no matter how hard the life is. In addition, the hip-hip artist Hypnautic is working with several of his closest colleagues from all generation's to produce a full SOUNDTRACK for the film and last but not least THE ARTBOOK. It's filled with amazing art from all over the city With decoded lyrics from the soundtrack, and behind the scenes from the movie!
Most important, this film is about community, so much so that we want you to be a part of it!

City Dreams is an Independent movie about the difficulties of urban life. Jackie Brown meets Pulp Fiction.
After many years of reckless living, drug abuse, and street crime, Payden Sacramento comes to terms with the fact that he has a young son who is the most important person in his life. Attempting a life turnaround, going straight is tougher than he had ever imagined. Flat broke and unable to find work, he decides to rob his drug dealer to feed his son.
After the hold up, Payden gets into a car wreck and is caught by police, with drugs in hand. He then spends five years in a state penitentiary where he solidifies his resolution to attempt to be a better person in family and life. Finally released, Payden relocates to another state, where he finds regular work as a manager of a local restaurant.
In his new life, he befriends an up-and-coming hip-hop singer (Hypnautic) who is also trying to heal from his past, and turn his dreams into reality. The two quickly become good friends and decide to start working together... Exactly at the point where Payden's past begins to catch up to him. Intertwined with Hypnautic's troublesome history - as well - they quickly learn turning broken pasts into successful futures...comes with difficulties, dangers, and bad intentions from old acquaintances.
Neither can go to the angry corrupt cops and must decide whether to take a stand, or see their dreams crumble. In the end, they must make the decision to stick together and attempt to fight back for what little they have worked so hard to gain...

~1.03 How the music is involved

To complement the movie, up-and-coming hip-hop star Hypnautic will be working with several other musicians (to be announced) to produce a 15-track album for the movie also titled: City Dreams. This fall, we will be producing multiple music videos to coincide with the marketing and release of the movie.
Hypnautic has already completed the first track of the album – To all the people who have contributed the song will be sent out in the first update.
~1.04 How much funding do we need and what we need it for

We are truly seeking nearly $1 million dollars in funding for the movie – however, we do not want to overwhelm supporters, so we have set our initial goal very low at $50k... At $50k, we will be able to start filming the movie – at the very least – but will likely need to seek additional funding somewhere else to complete the project.
We truly believe supporters will realize the value of this project and will help us exceed our initial goal of $50k and be a HUGE part in helping us reach the $1 million mark.
Here's what the funds raised will be used for:
- At $50k, we are able to commence production, with a very tight skeleton crew, and minimal actors. As barebones as attempting to make the movie with $50k would be, we will still give it our best. At $50k, we are planning to shoot this film entirely "guerilla", using hacked Canon 60D's (digital single-lens reflex cameras) to get a nice 1080p Cinestyle (full HDTV) look.
- At $100k, we would be able to sink $20k into a larger cast, upgrade some of the film equipment, and rent lighting. We can also pay our main actors $5k and hire a Grip and Key Grip for production. We would also be able to hire help to edit the film, along with having a little cash left over for location costs, sets, and costumes.
- At $250k, we would be able to produce the full movie at professional cinema quality. The bulk of the additional funds would go towards hiring a storyboard artist, a second-unit camera and director, location manager, 2nd and 3rd assistant directors, full cast, wardrobe/costume and make-up, sound editor, and a line producer. We would also be able to hire a professional lab to process and edit the film. In addition, we believe we would have enough left over to market the film to a few local film festivals.
- At $500k, we would be able to produce the full movie at professional cinema quality, but would also have enough money to also produce the 15-track album, and pay for some distribution for both the album and the movie. In addition, we would have enough money to pay for PR, marketing, and travel to a larger film festival like Sundance, which is really where we need to be to get the film on the map.
- At $1 million, we would be able to do all of the above, except at a much higher level... We would also be able to hire a nationally reputable PR firm, kick off a North American tour for both the movie and soundtrack, start International distribution, and seriously attempt to attend one or two larger international film festivals. At $1 million, we believe we can give this film a serious run at Hollywood.

Director | Producer
With nearly ten years of film making experience, Adam has directed and worked short films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries. Some of his credits include, production for ABC News, Discovery Channel content creation, and was principal of Showdown Media. Blackford has worked on more than a dozen music videos and was the primary creative force and director behind Hypnautic's recent video City Boy. Referencing his vision for City Dreams, Adam states, "Let's make a great movie!"
Brian Godeaux (AKA Hypnautic)
Producer | Top Flite Member | Solo Artist
Brian is a up-and-coming hip hop artist, who has been in national scene for nearly five years. However, Godeaux has been creating music and developing his talent over a decade, starting locally in Colorado, before branching out nationally. Some of his credits include: two solo albums, over 300 songs in his library, and 30 music videos. He has also part of the group Top Flite who have produced one album and are currently in production for the second. He has participated in nearly 250 shows, headlining for nearly 60,000 people in his hometown of Denver Colorado. His YouTube videos have over 300,000 views. Brian is adamant about sharing and building his community with fellow artists in every way, and states, "The music is about everything that surrounds me." He lives by the rule, "Follow your heart, and if it's positive, follow it no matter the cost."
Art Director | Production Assistant
Cedric is an oil painter. He has curated and juried shows. He had his first solo exhibition at age Twenty-Two. In 2012 Cedric was Nominated for the best artist in Denver by RAW. Cedric has been in the Westword, 3oh3!, and the Denver Post. He was a featured artist at the "Art of Comicon" 2013.
Jae is an animation genius with nearly a decade of experience producing 2D and 3D animation for short and long films, commercials, corporate needs, and documentaries. One of his main credits includes Rhyme Life Television, where he helped produce promo work for Devin the Dude, Bobby "V" Valentino, and B Lo Zero. His list of current projects - in production - includes the pop-video sensation Lil Moco. Looking forward to City Dreams, Slow states, "Dreams plus hard work equal reality; this is one of the best teams -- to plan, execute, and deliver a solid movie -- I've ever seen."

Art Book Director
As a Denver native and professional photographer, Danny has nearly ten years of experience in art and media production. Some of her credits include: contributing photographer to Inkspired, event photography for Sapphic Sirens, Oh La La Presents, and the Vanity Dolls. She has provided photography for God-Des and She, Speak Easy Tiger, The Portrait Resonance, and Snack-cakes and Beer. As the Chief Editor and Curator of the campaign's Art Book, Danny states, "This is real life in a movie... The Art book captures all of the artistic inspiration that is testament to the project as a whole... It's manifested physics where action inspires a reaction, but the cycle goes on..."
Production Assistant – Editor
Elizabeth has over a decade of production work under her belt, and has worked on nearly ten indie films, including: Tokeasy, Myan Renaissance, and The Honey Cooler. She is currently the Production Manager and Lead Editor for the Nobel Legacy Film Series. In addition, she is currently in production with three documentaries, all distributed by Tribeca Film Institute in New York. In regard to City Dreams, Elizabeth says, "Without great determination - nothing great is made... And this crew has what it takes to create success."
Director Street Marketing Team – Production Assistant
David is a man who is not afraid of hard work. He has assisted his brother Jae Slow in video production, set creation, and marketing. David specializes in person-to-person marketing and is the director of the film's street marketing team. David states, "Give the people something to believe in... The key to success is an important marketing team."
Brandon has more than a decade of experience in the hip-hop music scene. Traditionally a runway and print model, Slaughter has just begun his transition to film in the past two years. Working in mostly short films, City Dreams is Brandon's first lead in a full feature. As the lead actor for City Dreams Brandon states, "Follow your heart make dreams reality... I have a lot on my heart and this film is a moment to express all aspects of what this film is capable of."

Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and is currently in Graduate School pursuing her Master’s in Management. Over the last 14 years, Michelle has worked as a model for many photographers and local clothing companies. She has over 10 years' experience working as a Marketing Director, Promotional Coordinator, and has managed street teams for a variety of night/dance clubs and events throughout Denver, as well as worked with many big companies, such as Bior’e, Coors, Pepsi, and Vodka, to name a few. Michelle has witnessed and been a victim of her own struggles and knows with faith, hard work, motivation, dedication, commitment, and support, nothing is impossible to overcome! Malachi "Tiny" Martinez always knew he was destined for something great in life. Raised in the city of Denver, he started out on a path of crime, drugs and gangs but was later influenced to change his course of direction. Today, Martinez is a well known community leader and activist, an event promoter, a writer ( who is finishing his first novel) and a full time student who still finds time for his children. Martinez main goal in life is to leave a lasting impression on people with everything he does and hopes that City Dreams will do just that...

Ryan has an extensive background in strategic marketing, coding, Internet security and risk analysis. Vincent is also a tenured social media and design consultant, with credits that include contributing to design and/or implementation of Internet/marketing campaigns for: Toyota Scion, Ford, The Counting Crows, Wicked Garden, Alto, Ice-T, MC Dent, Budweiser, Coors Light, Corona, and Whole Foods, just to name a few. Currently, Vincent runs his own businesses, but remains and Independent Consultant for various national Corporations. City Dreams is pleased and honored to have an IT Adviser and Director with Vincent's tenure on the team.

Terms & Legal & Mumbo Jumbo
• For all our visitors, we plan on shooting in Denver, Colorado during the second week of September for Perks related to the MUSIC VIDEO... For Perks realted to the FILMING of the MOVIE, we will be shooting in Denver, Colorado from October to late November. We will keep you updated on location changes and shoot dates.
• If you become an extra, cast, or producer of any kind, through the purchase of any reward perk listed, mentioned as a perk, you fully understand and acknowledge that you will receive no monetary compensation, now, during or after the production and distribution of this feature film. Via that be, Pay-perview, Netflix, Internet, retail Independant Cinema, Theatrical Distribution, DVD, or any such media forms, known or unknown. You fully understand that by accepting these perks you will not be compensated whatsoever. You fully understand that you are contributing twoards the production of the film, and in return recieveing a paid, by you, screen credit.
To be cast as an EXTRA or to have a role in the film. You must be a US citizen, or have a US work visa, and NOT be a member of SAG/AFTRA. You fully understand you are contributing that specified dollar amount of the perk listed or More at your discretion and you will not receive any Monetary compensation now, during or in the future of this Motion picture including upon successful distribution and sale be it through any medium such as DVD sales, Theatrical Distribution, Pay Per View, free cable and TV, Internet or any medium of distributing now known or unknown in the future of this Motion picture with your names in the credits. You fully understand and agree that upon taking these perks you will never be compensated financially, these perks cannot be transferred into any third parties name other than the name listed during you payment processing of this perk and you fully understand you are making a contribution toward the funding of this Motion picture and recieving a paid Role (by You) and Paid (by You) Screen credit in the film. You also agree and allow us to use your image, likeness, voice edited or unedited with no financial compensation whatsoever in perpetuity in any medium known or unknown in the future. This is not a paying cast position whatssoever.
• You must be over 18 or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend the premiere or visit the set. ALL extras must also be over 18.
• In order to appear in the film, you must sign a release form, that releases your likeness, image, voice, edited or not, worldwide, now, or in the future in perpetuity without any compensation during or after the completion of Movie. You agree to the terms set forth and fully understand you will not be compensated but rather are recieving a reward of allowing you to participate in the film based on specific reward perk you have chosen, and that you are contributing money in the amount specified, or higer, to recieve that perk.
• Our final cut of the film may have to be further edited in certain cases to adhere to the laws in the country which it is being viewed, or for different types of media.
• All shooting locations, are subject to change for a variety of reasons, including the amount of money we are able to raise and the particular locations giving us the right to shoot.
• This fundraising campaign is all subject to applicable indiegogo rules/regulations, movie guild rules and applicable law. if any of this conflicts, we will work with you in good faith to give you a substitute reward.
Movie making is a very competitive business, we start with a good script, then move on to good actors, then move on to good cinematography. We are the hope of this generation, coming forth in the likenesses of our dreams.
