A year since our last update— and what a year it’s been! “Choros” has had an incredible run on the film festival circuit, culminating in a screening at Lincoln Center in New York last night. And we’ll be able to keep the film on the circuit for at least another year, thanks to your generosity!
Today “Choros” went live online, and already it’s receiving some wonderful coverage. “Short of the Week” just featured us, and industry blog Motionographer picked up the story shortly thereafter:

Thank you again for all your support, and please help us spread the word that “Choros” is online— after all, you made it happen!

Boston friends!
Clermont-Ferrand is bringing their favorite films to the Brattle Theater in Harvard Square next Tuesday, and “Choros” is among them! We’ve seen most of the films and they’re terrific— should be an amazing screening. Terah will be there to accept bouquets of roses from adoring fans and tomatoes from detractors.
Details at Balagan, the host of the screening:

In a future-forward review of the screening next Tuesday, Victoria Large calls “Choros” her favorite!

Balagan Films Screening Series
The first review is in, and if you speak French, it’s a great one!
“Like ‘Pas de Deux,’ in its time, ‘Choros’ contributes to cinematic innovation and marks a new milestone. This spellbinding narrative and visual experience paves the way for further attempts to bring life to the body on-screen.”
It’s official!
We’ve reached our goal of $5,200, thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends, families, artistic community, and the IndieGoGo community. You guys are wonderful.
In two weeks, we’ll be able to premiere “Choros” at Clermont-Ferrand in beautiful high definition, with our music rights cleared.
Incredibly, we’ve found ourselves with 25 days left in our campaign before IndieGoGo closes the door, so we may even be able to exceed our goal! If you haven’t already, would you be willing to post a note to Facebook or send an email to a few friends, describing why you thought it was important to make this project happen and encouraging other folks to help? Just use the sharing tools on our IndieGoGo page.
Thanks again. It has been such a thrill to see each and every one of your names joining our list of contributors.
Much love,
Michael and Terah
