Charcoal for Tuition

Short Summary

My name is Justin Coleman and I am a senior at Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. 

It is my goal to be completely debt free by the time that I graduate at the end of April.

I don't believe that this money should ever be handed to me for free, and that is why I am willing to work to reach my level of financial security.

For that simple reason, I am offering custom charcoal drawings as perks for my backers. 

All you have to do is leave the proper funding for the perk, and send me a picture or description of what you want me to draw for you, and your picture will be completed within the timeframe of the project and sent directly to your door!

I feel as though this is a winning situation for everyone. I am able to raise money to pay off my tuition and get my artwork out in the world at the same time, and contributers are able to take home a cool piece of custom artwork that works great as gifts of all sorts.

What I Need & What You Get

In order to pay off my tuition I will need around $4,100. 

The extra money asked for in the project is to cover the expense of the rewards and Indiegogo's cut of the money. 

I will need to keep stocked in charcoal supplies, paper, and shipping items (to ensure that drawings are delivered safely and undamaged to contributers). With the mass number of orders that I will have to complete in order to reach my goal, the cost will add up quickly.

The perks that I include for the project are all custom created artwork of varying sizes and mediums. I know that the project is called "Charcoal for Tuition", but I want to be able to offer a variety of options to people who would like to back my efforts. (NOTE: ALL DRAWINGS A SPRAYED WITH A SEALANT THAT PREVENTS MOST SMUDGING OF THE CHARCOAL).

I GUARANTEE that all funding necessary will go towards my remaining tuition debt. Being debt free at graduation is my goal and I would not spend the money on anything else.

The Impact

There is too much debt in this country as it is, and I am trying to get ahead of the curve. 

I would like to get to a point someday where I can help others out, but until I am debt free myself, there is no way that I can get ahead and get to that point.

By contibuting to my project you are also getting neat custom artwork that will  make your living space more unique or offer an outstanding gift to someone on a personal level.
