My Story

Hello, lovely people! ;-) Chantae Cann here... I'm an independent singer/songwriter based out of Atlanta, GA, and as far as I can remember, music has ALWAYS been my LOVE.  I decided to PURSUE it with PASSION and have since been blessed with the AMAZING opportunity to sing as a professional backing vocalist for Grammy Award winning artist, India.Arie.  This has been a DREAM come true!  I've encountered a plethora of equally as breathtaking, opportunities to collaborate with some of the most INSPIRING artists & musicians in the music industry.  In 2008, I began branching out into my solo artistry and I am finally ready to release an OFFICIAL debut project! ;-)

As an independent artist, in can be disheartening when one of the major factors prohibiting you from having a finished quality project is...yup...you guessed it... SWEET MULA!  So I'm reaching out to my beloved supporters, encouragers & appreciators to let you all know that, FIRST and foremost, I appreciate the appreciation! SECONDLY, I have been working on something very special & from the heart for you guys, and NOW, more than ever, I need your support. I humbly extend the invitation to each of you all, that can and will, to consider becoming a part of this meaningful process.               

My Mission

Here's a breakdown of what the funds raised will go towards.

$10,000 - Major Recording Expenses ((Studio Time, Musicians, Producer/Engineer            Fees, Mixing/Mastering))

$3,000 - Photo/Video Shoot & Edit for Website Launch & Promo Use

$3,000 - Manufacture/Replication of Physical CD's ((Includes Album Artwork & Graphic Design))

$3000 - Professional PR Services

$500   - Website Launch & Design

$500   - Promo Gear ((Posters, T-Shirts, Hoodies, Fanny Packs, etc...))

***Any ADDITIONAL funds raised will go towards small tour start up costs, in addition to the launching of our affiliate Not for Profit Organization, also known as, The Love Heals Movement***

Point blank..If you give money, you will get stuff. The cooler the money, the cooler the stuff.  I think that principle is pretty much universal but don't quote me on those statistics.
