Me
I am Chris Day, sole member of Python Blue. I have released several albums worth of music prior, as well as music for a few indie games and game mods, but most were limited in production quality. Prison of the Mind, an album mostly with '80s-style instrumental music, was my first serious project, which may correlate to why blogs like Synthetix Music are giving it some attention.
What I Need & What You Get
Bearing in mind the relative success of Prison of the Mind, I don't want to disappoint those not interested in game music. So, I started this campaign. Funds recieved are reserved for:
- Commissioning artwork for the album
- Getting the funds for getting the best out of my instrument library.
- Payment for a collaborator for one of the planned tracks
- Manufacturing of a limited edition CD, depending on the success of this campaign.
The relatively long duration is because of being busy with other music projects on top of this one.
The Impact
Prison of the Mind has proven a relative success in my mind, especially for those nostalgic listeners out there, and I hope to make Change of Clothes even better than the prior album. If you're into '80s music, then this is definitely something worth donating to.
