Key Features of College Apprentice Programs
- Selecting the best students- We have developed a standard by which we choose students to participate in our programs called The Green Envelope Standard. Students must apply to our programs and when they are accepted they receive notification by a Green Envelope in the mail. The Green Envelope is our promise to students, teachers, schools, and colleges that students accepted to College Apprentice programs have excelled in every aspect of high school.
- Application or Experience Based Learning- All of the conferences and competitions College Apprentice attends emphasize critical 21st Century Skills, such as Critical Thinking, Teamwork, Self-Iniative, Leadership, and Cross-Cultural Communication.
- International Exposure and Cooperation- Unlike student travel companies, CA programs are not just about traveling internationally. Our students must work and communicate with students from around the world.

How is the money raised going to be used?
As a start-up, one of our biggest challenges is cash flow. While a portion of the funds raised here will be used to augment marketing efforts, we will keep our promise that every dollar contributed to this campaign will be given as scholarships or grants over the next year.
What the story behind the name "College Apprentice?"
The link between high school students and college students is weak. Once students have participated in a CA program, they are encouraged to maintain a relationship with their CA advisors. Many develop mentorship relationships and help high school students navigate the confusing process of applying to college.
Who is eligible for College Apprentice programs?
All US students, aged 16-18 can participate in College Apprentice program. While each program looks for different elements when selecting teams, all of our students have certain elements in common, as outlined in our Green Envelope Standard.
