We are writing on behalf of our good friend, Cassie Davies. If Cassie was able to write this background herself, this page would not be necessary.
Cassie is a beautiful, young woman, who has the most contagious, bubbly personality. She would do anything for anyone and has a smile that can light up the room. She is a Speech Pathologist, making a difference in the lives of her clients every day. Cassie is a passionate person who puts 110% into anything she does. Her family, boyfriend, and friends mean the world to her. The world needs more Cassie's.
Unfortunately, Cassie became sick. It started out as basic symptoms (head ache, sore throat, achiness, throwing up, fatigue). By Thursday night, Cassie had lost feeling/ movement in her lower body. She was taken to the hospital late Thursday night. By Friday morning, Cassie had become unconscious and the doctors found swelling on her brain and an infection in her body. As the weekend went on, the effects of the infection became more devastating. Cassie was transferred to Geisinger, Danville to be treated by a team of doctors. Several tests have been done, but the doctors are not able to find what the infection is to start a successful treatment.
We Need Your Help The news has left Cassie’s family and friends completely devastated. We remain hopeful and strong that Cassie will fight this and make a full recovery. Cassie is a very strong girl. The tragic news has left medical and personal expenses that were not expected. If you stopped by this page, please consider leaving a donation.
