We’re into the last 48 hours of this campaign and just over 10% funded… I’m just writing two articles for tomorrow: “What happens if we exceed the target” and “What happens if we don’t hit the target” since one or the other is going to happen, but I don’t want to call it yet! :)

Silver Jubilee Day 1977

“Although still officially in the fundraising phase, I think it would be fun to start collecting some material. Just to start to get an idea of the scale of stuff that’s actually out there and to demonstrate some of the principles at work.
So I propose we look first for images of the Silver Jubilee day in 1977 since it’s probably a day that people took their cameras out. We have one bit of cine film of the parade, are there others? Were you in the parade? Do you have any photographs of the parade, or of street parties, or of any other activities you or your family took part in on the day?
