What is Brickflow?

Brickflow is an app for building memorable stories and collections out of your favorite media from Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and more. It’s the social media aggregator for visual, creative minds.

Values 

At Brickflow we believe that creativity is our natural state and it is a shared community experience, a result of a collaborative process. And most of all, we think that we can make this process easier for millions of online content creators by providing a platform where they can collaborate and develop their stories together.

Creativity is about playing freely and openly. Therefore, working with multimedia should be easy and playful too! With this application multimedia collaboration will become just like that. It opens up the creative process and makes it possible to work with other people online.

We want to shape this tool to best fit your needs, so this campaign is the beginning of an open discussion about creativity and storytelling. Join us!

Story

Mihály and his musician friend, Erno Z Rubik, wanted to make a short film “brick by brick”, adding small bits by associating to the previous one. But they haven’t found the suitable tool. This was the birth of the idea to build a platform for playful online multimedia collaboration!

After a year of preparation, the three of us decided to put everything aside, and started working on brickflow full time.

Team

Mihaly Borbely is responsible for product and marketing. He has a background in market research, gained experience at the the Gallup Institute, but also worked as a photographer and filmmaker, so he has a lot to say about visual storytelling.

Tamás Kokeny is our engineer, who used to work for Prezi, the highly successful zooming presentation startup. The experience he got there is very important for us.

Peter Langmar is the business and management guy in the team. He worked at the Harvard University founded ArtScience Labs incubator in Paris. I have hands-on experience in business development and project management. Beside business he has a background in photography and online media.

Budget

After closing this awesome crowdfunding campaign, we used the money to pitch Brickflow to accelerators and business angels all around Europe. Thanks to the generous help of our backers, we were accepted to two major accelerator programs, which means we are funded till August.
