Do you love animals?
We certainly do! My name is Cindy Smith, and I work for Contra Costa County Animal Services in Martinez, California. We are the county's Animal Cops and one of the largest rescue agencies in the area. We take in nearly 15,000 animals each year and our main goal is to protect animals from cruelty and find homes for unwanted pets.
With so many shelter animals, WHY am I look for help for just ONE of them? Because I met Jean Paul, a blind 10 year-old Chocolate Point Siamese cat that melted my heart. Brought in by his owner who had lost her job and home, She was desparate to find a family who would love her special needs cat.
We found a loving family, with another young blind cat, to adopt Jean Paul!
Unfortunately, Jean Paul was rushed to the vet twice within the first week. He was suffering from a dangerou intestinal blockage and vomiting. Xrays, medications, and deblocking procedure has already cost his humans nearly $1,000. Exploratory surgery may be the next step if this treatment doesn't solve this painful condition!
Your contribution to Jean Paul's medical treatment would ensure that the very special family who opened up their home and hearts to Jean Paul, will not be burdened by any unexpected veterinary costs they face.
Your donation of just $25 will go directly to the family for the care & treatment of Jean Paul!
