My name is Joshua David. I am an Electronics Design Engineer working on various Consumer products down under in Australia.
I started my personal site www.BlueberryDe.com to give an outlet for creative/cool and useful design products for prototyping, arts and other interesting design stuff!
My site currently offers a small selection of awesome Arduino Shields, encorporating quality design and components. I am hoping to expand this range very soon!
What We Need & What You Get
In order to make these awesome Arduino Shields faster and free up more time for developing more awesome prototype / creative products I need to make larger volume batches using a Pick and Place Machine!
I have access to a quality Pick and Place line for production but no volume parts, feeders, panel circuit boards or stencils :( I currently make everything from small orders of parts by hand and bake in a small prototyping Reflow Oven!
Where will the money go?
In order to use a Pick and Place Machine and produce some volume I will need to obtain:
- Large Volume parts on Reels
- Panelised Circuit Boards at volume
- Solder Stencil for each Circuit Board Panel
- Character LCD's, buttons and other parts at volume
- Additional Feeders to hold the Reels
- Materials like Solder Paste, etc.

48 Channel Shift Register Expander Arduino Shield! utilising 6 x 74HC595 8-Bit Shift Registers! Make awesome projects!
Uses Pins D2(Data), D3(Clock), and D4(Latch). Uses the SHIFTER Library available here
The i2C LCD + Keypad Shield for Arduino is a nifty little Shield! using only 3 pins on the Arduino to provide a 16×2 LCD and a small 4 button keypad with left, right, up, down and select.
Uses Pins A3(button(s) value), A4 and A5(i2C).

The BlueberryDe.com Shields are predominantly developed for creative purposes. Enabling users of the Arduino Platform the ability to expand the functionality of the existing platform greatly. I try to develop shields that are very useful with huge benefit to the electronics and creative community
The future of BlueberryDe.com and its Shields and other projects/products is very exciting! I have many different ideas and lots already in prototype, however manufacturing by hand constrains time and slows down development. With the help of this project we will be able to bring to you our customers some AWESOME new shields and just cool creative design ideas and products in the near future!
