~ SYNOPSIS ~
ARISTOTLE, an ethereal homeless man, RE:visions the RE:lationship of Art and RE:cyclables and what it all means to the Earth. On his daily journey, he encounters a Journalist, who expresses interest in his roadside recyclable collectibles. In her Interview, the Journalist discovers that Aristotle is no expected depiction of the representation of a "homeless man," but a brilliant mind, a philosopher and an Artist, creating Art, in the most unexpected place and from the use of the most unexpected materials.
~ ARTIST STATEMENT ~
I am Tishuan Scott. I am an Actor/Writer/Director/Producer living in Houston, Texas.
I received my B.A. from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA in Drama and Psychology and soon followed with an M.F.A. in Acting from the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television. I was awarded Best Actor at SXSW 2013 for my performance of NATE, A Freedman who goes North during the Civil War and works as a gravedigger, in the Civil War Western Feature Film: THE RETRIEVAL.
Born out of the necessity to educate the public and induce and encourage recycling across the United States and over the entirety of our Earth is the genesis of: ARISTOTLE THE APOSTLE.
Every year over one hundred thousand seabirds perish from entanglement or suffocation from plastic bags that pollute our ocean waters. There is a growing land mass of plastics, currently twice the size the State of Texas, floating in the Pacific Ocean.
Your contributions will help fund Aristotle's story and the message that he has for all of us; that it is of dire necessity that we must RE:alize, RE:cognize and RE:member our duty to the Earth. You will be part of Aristotle's Army in moving us FORWARD, with the hope of saving marine life, wildlife, our oceans and the RE:creation of dynamic Art!

What’s the gold hair about?
Kings wear crowns.
Looks just like a crown. How’d you make your hair blonde… or gold?
Peroxide. And then I just let it absorb the sun. That’s why my teeth so white. I use baking soda and peroxide.
Those are some pearly whites.
Thank You. You know the three reasons why we got teeth?
Uh. To… chew?
Chewing is the same as eating.
Yah. We got teeth: to eat, to speak and to smile!
I am shooting the film under the SAG-AFTRA Short Film Agreement.
