Who, what, why?
Architecture student for 5 years and passionate photographer since 2005, i'm working for one year on a 365 days journey, to the antipode of Lyon France, which is located near Chatham Islands, New Zealand.
Mostly in black and white, but in color as well for one year, my work try to catch the instant, while focusing on light and surrounding motion. this passion lead me to far places in the world such as New-York, Iceland, or Hong-Kong, and i am now willing to make one complete journey to document all the different lifestyles and landscapes along the way. During this trip I will be using only low carbon transportation which makes it responsible and respectful.
Mentioned in the 500 best amateurs photographers out of 50 000 photographs by PHOTO magazine in 2008, and exposed in Lyon architecture school in 2011 under the expo name "don't tell my mum i'm gone again", my work is serious and tries to be recognized.
After trying a 365 days photographs experiment to show the beauty of everyday's sky and lights, this journey around the world has the goal to promote the beauty and diversity of life , as well as freedom of movement across borders. It will lead to a photo exposition at the anniversary date of the departure, which has to be fixed.
If the goal of this campaign is reached (or nearly reached) the trip and expo will happen and i will do my best to thank all of you contributors. If not, money will go to the photographer's Yann Arthus Bertrand "goodplanet" association, with of course any proof i can provide.
I may remind you that this is of course a project that counts a lot for me and that i hope it'll reach it's goal. So make some noise about it, pass the word, share. Help this happen.
