anipan launches on August 20th, and you can now pre-register at www.anipan.com!

If you are an anipan backer, please check your inbox (or spam box) for an email confirming your address and reward tiers. We will be sending out rewards at the beginning of June.

What next?

Hello!

We're building a new community for artists, called anipan.

anipan will:

• put the emphasis back on presenting your artwork beautifully;
• reduce copyright infringement of high resolution works;
• make your artwork more accessible to a larger global audience;
• and to revolutionise the sharing of your artwork with your friends and followers all around the web.

We've re-thought the art community fundamentals, such as how you get your works online and how people view and interact with them. We've discovered a way to cut copyright infringement, while making viewing your artwork even more engrossing. And we're intending to make it even easier to upload creations to art communities and social networks you're already a part of. You can see examples of these developments in action in our video updates.

For the artist, if the amount of time spent promoting your artwork can be reduced, you can spend more time on being an artist.

And for the art lovers, we want to make your experiences when viewing artwork even more lifelike and engaging.

Please take a look at our video to see how we have so far been able to achieve these things.

We're doing this because we love artwork, and we want to inspire creation.

With the support of some very talented artists, we've created a range of goodies that we will send to you when you back anipan.

We're also offering Founding Member status, lunch with the team, and featuring on the anipan homepage!

Plus, you can have the site mascots based on your name and likeness. And, somebody out there will be the person to press the red button that switches anipan into public beta mode! Will it be you?

Launching a large site is expensive, and we want to get it right, without a hiccup. We're asking for your support to help us complete the site's development and cover large upfront expenses including servers (there will be five to begin with!), software, and administration.

Our target is $25,000. Let's go for it!

Become a lead mascot!

Would you like to become a lead mascot of anipan? Since anipan is themed around a bakery, there will be multiple mascots around the site, but you (or a person/pet of your choice) will be the head-chef.

All you have to do is spread the word, and the top three people to refer the most pledgers will be entered into a raffle to become a lead mascot of anipan:

1. Sign up for Indiegogo. You don't have to pledge (although it would be most appreciated, and will contribute towards your count if you do!), but you need to be registered to get a custom link.
2. Spread the word! Use the "share this campaign" link to share our campaign on Twitter, blog about it on Tumblr, draw/write about it on DA, or try something completely unique and original. It's up to you how you get the word out.
3. That's it! There is no step 3!

People who visit your link and pledge (no matter the size) will be counted as a pledger who you referred. Rank in the top 3 to stand a chance of becoming a lead mascot of anipan. We will base the mascot off a photo of you, and we'll give it a name inspired by yours. Or, if you like, we can base it off a photo of your pet, your boyfriend/girlfriend, or somebody close to you.
