Ark RAIN Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit, 501-c-3 exotic animal rescue that has helped 100's of animals over the last 25 years.
WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP TODAY
Unfortunately, Ark RAIN Wildlife Sanctuary suffered a devastating fire, on November 19th, 2010! Sadly 56 precious rescue animals lost their lives in the fire. All animal supplies, indoor exhibits, fundraising supplies, equipment, etc. burned also. Due to the fire, the sanctuary lost all of it's regular operating income. There was NO insurance or funds to replace anything or to rebuild. Ark RAIN Wildlife Sanctuary is still struggling and desperately needs your financial support to continue caring for the 60 animals that survived the fire.
One of the ways that Ark RAIN raised funds before the fire was by selling educational children's wildlife books that were written and self published by Co-Founders Timothy and Toni Davies. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the books helped to purchase food and supplies for the animals. Ark RAIN lost it's complete inventory of these books in the fire and has not been able to raise the funds needed to replenish them. By reaching this campaign goal, we can reprint enough books to help the sanctuary to move forward and get a bit closer to getting back on it's feet again.
