We are the founders of two unique career resources. The first is a free career advice blog called, CAREEREALISM. The second is a motivating job search program designed to help people find work faster. It's called CareerHMO.

In spite of the improvement in our unemployment rate in the U.S., there are still 23 million Americans who are out of work. Many of whom are long-term unemployed (6+ months). These individuals are struggling to pay for the necessities, like food and housing. As a result, they do not have the means to pay for cutting-edge career resources that can help them get on track to finding work faster. These people need a scholarship to a program that will give them the information, tools and coaching support needed to find a new job. They need an ally. They need you!

Unemployment Discrimination is at an All-time High

Studies show people who have been out of work one month or longer are discriminated against by hiring managers. Even worse, a recent survey indicates that those that have been out of work 2+ years are less likely to get hired than a convicted felon. Being unemployed in America today is mentally and emotionally difficult. Yet, you can't get hired without a good attitude - talk about a Catch 22!
